1. Select the Correct Voice Chat Device
Sometimes, updates can reset your in-game audio settings. To fix this, go to the game’s settings menu, click on the Audio tab, and navigate to the Voice Chat section. Ensure your microphone is selected as the input device. This step can often resolve issues related to voice chat not functioning.
2. Allow Microphone Access
Windows updates may reset your microphone privacy settings, preventing the game from accessing it. To allow microphone access, search for Privacy Settings in the Windows search bar. Click on Microphone in the left panel and ensure the Allow apps to access the microphone option is turned on. This ensures Valorant can use your microphone properly.
3. Use Push to Talk
If the automatic voice detection isn’t working, consider switching to the Push to Talk feature. In the game’s settings, go to the Audio tab, find Voice Chat, and change the Party voice activation mode to Push to Talk. You can also customize the key bind for easier access.
