Who is The Ship Masked Singer?
The Ship is a contestant on Season 12 of "The Masked Singer. Many believe that the Ship is Paula Cole, a singer known for her hits in the 1990s, including "I Don’t Want to Wait." She gained fame after winning the Best New Artist award at the 1998 Grammys.
The Ship's masked ambassador is Jewel, who won Season 6 as the Queen of Hearts. The Masked Singer Season 12
The Masked Singer is an American reality singing competition that started on January 2, 2019, on Fox. The show is based on the South Korean series King of Mask Singer and features celebrities singing while wearing costumes and face masks to hide their identities.
Hosted by Nick Cannon, the show has a panel of judges—Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke—who guess the identities of the performers based on clues. After each performance, the audience and panel vote for their favorite singer, and the least popular one is eliminated, revealing their identity.
To keep the performers' identities secret, the show uses code names, disguises, and strict security measures. The costumes are designed by Marina Toybina and have received praise for their creativity. The show has been very successful, leading to spin-offs and merchandise, and it has been renewed for its twelfth season, which premiered on September 25, 2024.
