Scott Frost will now be coaching Los Angeles Rams. Former Nebraska football coach Scott Frost is getting back into coaching, now at the NFL level. According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Frost is joining the Los Angeles Rams as a senior football analyst for head coach Sean McVay and his team. This will be Frost's first coaching job since being fired by Nebraska in 2022 after a disappointing start to the season with a 1-2 record, including a loss to Georgia Southern at home.

Yes, Scott Frost got a new job. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams announced that they hired Scott Frost, the former head coach of Nebraska, as a senior football analyst. Frost will take on several roles, including working with special teams, where the Rams currently need help.
Frost had a tough time during his five seasons at Nebraska, with a record of 16 wins and 31 losses overall, and 10 wins and 26 losses in conference games. His best season was in 2019 when the team, considered the No. 26 team in the preseason, finished with a 5-7 record.
Although Nebraska did play in a bowl game under Frost, they never met the requirements to qualify for one. Nebraska owes Frost about $16.4 million as part of his contract and buyout terms.

Scott Frost will be coaching for the Los Angeles Rams. This is his first job in football since he was fired by Nebraska on September 11, 2022. The 2022 season was a tough one for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. They ended the season with a 4-8 record overall and 3-6 in the Big Ten Conference.
Frost was fired after just three games, and the defensive coordinator Erik Chinander was also let go the next week. The Big Ten media had predicted Nebraska would finish fifth in the Big Ten West, but they ended up sixth. The team's best moment was a 24-17 win over Iowa in their final game.
After the season, Matt Rhule was hired as the new head coach and kept only the offensive line coach, Donovan Raiola.

After he stopped playing football, Scott Frost worked as an assistant coach for several college teams. He is best known for being the offensive coordinator for the Oregon Ducks from 2013 to 2015. During his time there, he helped coach Marcus Mariota, who won the Heisman Trophy. In 2014, the Oregon Ducks made it to the first college football playoff but lost to Ohio State in the national championship game.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Frost will assist the special teams coordinator, Chase Blackburn, and also help with both the offense and defense.
"Just to be able to get a quality, caliber coach like him in the building, as you guys know, you know, we've had a lot of turnover for the right reasons, and you can't have enough good quality people in-house," McVay said after Monday's practice. "And really, to get him in, it was something that he wanted to do. And like I said, the mutual connections, so there's a lot of people that are excited about it."

Frost was the head coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 2018 to 2022.
