Qualification Details

Mining Mate C

Intermediate with unrestricted Mining Mate Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under MMR- 1961. Candidate must possess 05(Five) years experience as Mining Mate in Underground Mechanised Metal Mines after obtaining Mining Mate Certificate of Competency

Blaster B

Qualification: Matric with unrestricted Blaster's Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under MMR - 1961. Experience : Candidate must possess 03(Three) years experience as Blaster in a Underground Metal Mine after obtaining Blaster Certificate of Competency.

Winding Engine Driver-B

Qualification: Matric with Ist Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS. Experience : The candidate should have more than 03 years working experience as Winding Engine Driver in Metal Mines after obtaining Ist Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency out of which at least one year experience on a 75 HP Winder or more.

Pay Scale

• Mining Mate-C: 29190-3%-45480/-
• Blaster-B: 28790-3%- 44850/-
• Winding Engine Driver-B: 28790-3%- 44850/- 

In addition to applicable Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Common Allowances, etc. the selected candidates shall be entitled to inter-alia subsidized accommodation, medical facility, children education facility etc. as per company's extant policies/Rules and availability of the facility.

Age Limit

• Mining Mate-C: 35 Years
• Blaster-B: 32 Years
• Winding Engine Driver-B: 32 Years
• Relaxation & concession in Age for EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBDs will be provided as per extant Government of India guidelines, issued from time to time.
• There is no age limit for employees serving in UCIL who otherwise fulfill all the prescribed criteria.

Selection Procedure

• Depending on the response from the candidates to the advertisement they will be called for Written Test/ Trade Test/Personal Interview, as applicable.
• Decision of UCIL shall be final in this regard. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not confer any right in respect of the Written Test/ Trade Test/Personal Interview/ Final Selection, as applicable.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test/ Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
• Verification of original certificates with regard to Age, Educational Qualifications, Work experience, Scale of Pay, Category/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD status (as applicable) and other documents as asked for will be done only at the time of Written Test / Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
• UCIL reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify the Recruitment/Selection process, if need so arises, without assigning any reason.

General Terms and Conditions

• Only Indian Nationals, aged above 18 years need to apply. In case of multiple/duplicate applications by candidate for the same posts; only latest application will be considered.
• The crucial date for reckoning the Maximum Age Limit and Post Qualification Experience is the last date of submission of application i.e. 30/11/2024.
• Only Post Qualification experience will be considered as relevant experience. Period of internship will not be counted as experience.
• UCIL's decision in this regard shall be final and no requests shall be entertained.
• The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the more possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written test/Personal Interview.
• Decision of UCIL shall be final in this regard.
• Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel/restrict/curtail/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment process as well as the number of vacancies, if need so arises, without any further notice or without assigning any reason thereof.
• UCIL may at its discretion, re-conduct written test/ Trade Test/Group Discussions/Personal Interview, wherever necessary in respect of any candidates, in case of any eventualities.
• UCIL reserves the right not to select a candidate for a post, if suitable candidate is not found. Appointment of the candidate in UCIL is subject to satisfactory verification of Character & Antecedents by the prescribed authorities.
• Further, appointment of the selected candidate will be subject to medical fitness by the Authorised Medical Officer of UCIL.
• All positions advertised carries with it the liability to serve in any of the Units of the Corporation or at any other place in India depending upon Company requirements.

• Application fees of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) need to be paid by the applicants belonging to General (UR), EWS & OBC (NCL) categories. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWBD & Female categories are exempted from payment of any application fees.
• Application Fees as mentioned above need to be deposited through Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'Uranium Corporation of India Limited' payable at State Bank of India, Jaduguda".
• Application Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Typed 'Application Form' in the prescribed format as mentioned above, giving full details along with a recent passport size photograph, self-attested copies of matriculation certificate for proof of date of birth and all other relevant documents such as Educational qualifications, Experience, Caste certificate, Income Certificate Medical Certificate in respect of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) and application fees as applicable, should reach to the Dy.General Manager (Personnel & IRs.) at the postal address given below on or before 30/11/2024.
