Trunk of Funk Astro Bot

In the new PlayStation 5 game Astro Bot, you have to visit different worlds to finish the game. One of these worlds is the Tentacle System Galaxy, which has a level called "Trunk of Funk." To complete this level, you need to find and collect all the bots and puzzle pieces hidden throughout the stage.

Trunk of Funk Astro Bot Locations

To find all the bots in the "Trunk of Funk" level in Astro Bot, follow these simple steps:

Bot 1 Location:

Look for a large green sapling. Near it, you'll find a cow bot. The hidden bot is riding on a nearby deer.

Bot 2 Location:

From where you find the first puzzle piece, go right to a road with a pink mushroom at the end. The hidden bot is on top of this mushroom.

Bot 3 Location:

Find this bot in a nest above the platform with the sapling, close to the third checkpoint.

Bot 4 Location:

After entering the tree again via a higher path, climb to the top platforms. Pull the cord on the nest to reveal the bot.

Bot 5 Location:

When outside the tree, navigate a series of floating platforms. The bot is on a lone platform far away. Create your own platforms to reach it.

Bot 6 Location:

Cross the floating platforms and move ahead until you face a big enemy bot. To its left, jump onto a mushroom to reach a hidden area. Pull the cord and push the walls to find the bot.

Bot 7 Location:

After leaving the honeycomb area and crossing to the other side, find a tree trunk with a zipper. Get on top and unzip it to open a hidden path, revealing the bot at the end.

Puzzle Locations 

To find all the puzzle pieces in the "Trunk of Funk" level in Astro Bot, follow these steps:

Puzzle Piece 1 Location

  • At the start of the level, fly your spaceship to the cave behind the waterfall.
  • If you miss it, restart the level because it’s early on and easy to find.

Puzzle Piece 2 Location

  • When you reach the area with the big sapling bot, look for a small spot where a mole bot shows up with a golf ball.
  • Hit the ball into the hole to score a goal, and the puzzle piece will appear.

Puzzle Piece 3 Location

  • After leaving the honeycomb area, find the platform with the big floating smiley face.
  • Defeat the flower enemy bot in the center of this platform to reveal the third puzzle piece underneath.

Secret VIP Bots

Brave Biker is the second robot you find in the "Trunk of Funk" level. It is inspired by Deacon St. John, the main character from the video game Days Gone. Deacon rides a motorcycle and goes on exciting adventures. Brave Biker is also brave and ready for challenges, making the game more enjoyable.

 Spirit Guide is the sixth robot on the same level. It is inspired by Kena from the game Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Kena is a spirit guide who helps lost spirits with her special powers. Spirit Guide adds magic and adventure to the game, making it more fun as players explore and solve puzzles. 

Astro Bot 

Astro Bot is a new platform game made by Team Asobi and published by Sony for the PlayStation 5. It came out in 2024 and is a follow-up to Astro's Playroom from 2020. This game is the third in the Astro Bot series and was released to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation. It has been praised by critics and is very well-liked.
