TRAI Recruitment 2024 Notification Overview

Qualification Details

• A bachelor's degree in engineering/ technology / science (Math / Physics) from a recognized University / Institution.
• Essential: Retired Officers of Central Ministries / Department / PSU / Autonomous Bodies, desirous to be considered as Consultant in TRAI Regional Offices, should have at least 25 years of experience and have worked on a post equivalent to the post of Sr. Research Officer (Level-11 of 7th CPC) or above (i.e. Under Secretary / AGM / ADG or above in Central Govt. Ministries / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies).
• Experience of working in Telecom / Broadcasting sectors or in Central Regulatory Bodies.

Vacancies

Consultant (Tech)- Grade-II (Retired Govt. Servant) - One (01) at each Regional Offices (Bengaluru, Bhopal, Jaipur, Hyderabad) Two (02) at Regional Office Kolkata

Salary

65,000/- (Fixed) per month OR Salary of the Consultant retired from Govt. Service will be fixed on 'Last pay drawn minus basic pension' basis OR In case of officers retired under New Pension Scheme, their salary will be fixed 'after deduction of 30% of the last basic pay from the last basic pay', as per GOI, Ministry of Finance, Deptt of Expenditure guidelines on the subject, whichever is lower. Plus, transport allowance per month 27,200/ - (Fixed) OR rate applicable at the time of retirement, whichever is lower (Fixed).

Age Limit

Upper age limit, 63 years as on the date of Vacancy Circular

(a) Showing dame of shinine the date of birth such as Aadhaar Card, 10w Mark Sheet

(b) Educational qualifications). (Mark Sheet from 10th onwards. Final Year degree mark sheet containing consolidated marks in graduation is mandatory}.

(c) Post qualification experience/ employment. (d) PPO (in case of retired from pensionable organization)

(e) Any other relevant documents.
