The Wombats are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003, consisting of Matthew Murphy (vocals, guitar), Tord Øverland Knudsen (bass), and Dan Haggis (drums).

Over the years, they released several successful albums, including This Modern Glitch (2011), Glitterbug (2015), and Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life (2018). Their fifth album, Fix Yourself, Not the World (2022), became their first UK No. 1 album. The band has sold over a million albums worldwide.
