Tyler overcomes his fear and attacks Pop Pop, ultimately killing him by repeatedly slamming the refrigerator door on his head.

The police arrive, and the siblings are rescued by their mother, Loretta. The Visit Plot

The Visit follows two siblings, Becca and Tyler, who visit their grandparents for the first time while their mother goes on a trip. Their mom, Loretta, hasn't spoken to her parents in 15 years due to a family argument. When the kids arrive at the isolated farmhouse, they notice their grandparents, Nana and Pop Pop, acting strangely. Nana vomits at night, and Pop Pop becomes aggressive and paranoid.

Things get worse when the siblings discover strange things, like soiled diapers and a missing visitor. Eventually, their mother reveals via video call that the people they are staying with are not their real grandparents.

The children find the bodies of their actual grandparents in the basement, realizing that the couple are escaped patients from a psychiatric hospital. In a tense showdown, the siblings manage to kill the impostors and escape. In the end, they reconcile with their mom and reflect on family conflicts.
