Space Marine 2 Heavy Stance

Heavy Stance is an important part of the Space Marine 2 gameplay. When you aim down sights (ADS), you enter Heavy Stance. This makes your shots more accurate, and you can zoom in further to hit distant enemies. Some perks in the game are designed to work with Heavy Stance, so check your perk tree.

While in this stance, you move slower, the screen zooms in, and your aiming reticle changes. You won’t be able to dodge or perform executions, so be aware of what's happening around you.

If you're using a mouse and keyboard, it's best to change your controls. Set ADS to Hold instead of Toggle. This way, when you release the button, you'll automatically leave Heavy Stance and can react quickly to what's going on around you. You can change this in the Controls menu under Weapons, Equipment, and Interaction.

How to Use Heavy Stance in Space Marine 2?

The Heavy Class uses a special stance called Heavy Stance, which happens when you aim down the sights. To enter Heavy Stance, hold the aim button, and your character will stop moving fast and stand still. This is the only time the aiming circle (reticle) shows up, making it the best time to shoot. You should always use ammo in this mode because it's the most accurate.

In Heavy Stance, you can walk slowly and use the Iron Halo ability. If you do anything else, like throw a grenade or try to punch (even without a melee weapon), it will break the stance, so be careful. However, staying in Heavy Stance most of the time is recommended since it improves your accuracy and makes any upgrades for it very useful.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a third-person action game released in 2024. It was made by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. This game is a follow-up to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, which came out in 2011. It was released on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 9, 2024. Critics mostly gave it positive reviews.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, players control Titus, a lieutenant from the Ultramarines chapter. The game features both melee and ranged combat from a third-person view. Throughout the campaign, Titus is joined by two other Space Marines, Chairon and Gadriel, who can be played by friends in cooperative multiplayer or by AI in single-player mode.

Players use ranged attacks against weaker enemies, like Tyranid Gaunts, while melee attacks are necessary for stronger foes, such as Tyranid Warriors. Players can block or dodge attacks, but some cannot be blocked at all. Titus wears armor that can break, causing permanent health loss until he finds medkits. His armor regenerates when he performs execution moves on enemies. If Titus’s health runs out, he can be revived by teammates within 30 seconds.

The game also includes a cooperative mode called "Operations" and three competitive multiplayer modes: Annihilation, Seize Ground, and Capture and Control. Players can choose from six character classes and customize their avatars with different cosmetic items.
