  • Min. Brightness: 0.6
  • Max. Brightness: 2.5
  • Brightness: 1.0

Another option is to enable the Auto HDR feature in Windows 11. If your computer supports it, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings, then go to System and Display.
  2. If you have more than one display, choose the HDR-capable one from the diagram at the top of the screen, then select Use HDR.
  3. Next, click More options > and turn on Auto HDR.

This can improve the game's visuals.

How Brightness Adjustments Improve Space Marine 2's Game?

Space Marine 2 takes a lot of ideas from third-person military shooters like Gears of War, which were popular in the late 2000s. Some people feel it borrows too much, especially with its dull color scheme, which was common in older games.

The colors in Space Marine 2 often look faded, with many areas filled with brown and gray tones. While this might suit the dark and serious Warhammer world, you might want more color and brightness in the game. Increasing the contrast between dark and light areas can make the visuals look much better.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a third-person shooting and fighting game made by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. It is the sequel to the 2011 game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. The game came out on September 9, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Critics generally liked the game.

Space Marine 2 Gameplay

In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, players control a character named Titus, a Space Marine lieutenant, and fight enemies using a mix of both shooting and melee combat from a third-person view. Titus is joined by fellow Space Marines, Chairon and Gadriel, who can either be controlled by other players in co-op mode or by AI in single-player mode.

Players use ranged weapons to fight weaker enemies, like Tyranid Gaunts, but need to use melee combat to defeat stronger enemies, like Tyranid Warriors, who can block gunfire. Some enemy attacks can be blocked, but others must be dodged. Titus can regain armor by performing special execution moves, and his health can only be restored by finding medkits. If a character's health is fully depleted, they fall down and other players have 30 seconds to revive them.

The game also has a separate co-op mode called "Operations" and three different competitive multiplayer modes where two teams of six players compete. Players can choose from six different character classes and customize their character's appearance with cosmetic items.
