Snow Patrol Tour Setlist
Here’s the setlist of Snow Patrol Tour:-
Snow Patrol New Album 2024
Snow Patrol's new album, The Forest Is the Path, was released on September 13, 2024. This is their first full-length album in six years and features 12 tracks. The album was produced by Fraser T. Smith and includes writing contributions from Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, and Johnny McDaid, along with credits from other artists like Will Reynolds and Roy Kerr.
The lead single from the album, titled "The Beginning," was unveiled on May 29, 2024. Gary Lightbody described that they wrote the song in one day during a trip to Somerset, and he recorded the vocals in a single take, which gives the song a deep emotional quality. The band also announced a supporting tour in 2025 for their fans in the UK and Ireland.
Snow Patrol
Snow Patrol is a rock band formed in 1994 in Dundee, Scotland, originally from Northern Ireland and Scotland. The current members are Gary Lightbody (vocals and guitar), Nathan Connolly (guitar and backing vocals), and Johnny McDaid (piano and guitar). Gary is the only original member left.
The band started as Polarbear and released an EP called Starfighter Pilot in 1997. They became Snow Patrol in the same year and added drummer Jonny Quinn. Their first two albums, Songs for Polarbears and When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up, were not very successful. In 2002, they signed with Polydor Records, and Nathan joined as the lead guitarist.
Their big break came with the album Final Straw in 2003, featuring the hit song "Run," which helped them gain national fame. Their next album, Eyes Open (2006), included the famous song "Chasing Cars," which became one of the most-played songs on UK radio.
They released more albums, including A Hundred Million Suns (2008), Fallen Empires (2011), and Wildness (2018). Jonny Quinn and Paul Wilson left the band in 2023. Throughout their career, Snow Patrol has won several awards and sold over ten million copies of their albums worldwide.
