Satisfactory Encryption Token Missing

In the full release of Satisfactory 1.0 for PC, players have discovered a "Encryption Token Missing" error, which can be frustrating if you're running a dedicated server. This issue means the server can't find or use the required encryption token to function properly. The problem might stem from incorrect server setup or missing files.

To fix this, make sure your server is updated to the latest version and check that all necessary files are correctly installed. Sometimes, restarting the server or reconfiguring your server settings can help. If the issue persists, consulting the game's support forums or official help guides might offer more solutions.

How to Fix Satisfactory Failed to Connect to the Server API?

If you're having trouble connecting to the server API in Satisfactory, it might be due to incorrect port forwarding settings. With the latest update, you need to forward three ports on your router:

  1. Port 7777 (Game Port)

  2. Port 15000 (Beacon Port)

  3. Port 15777 (Query Port)

Make sure to forward these ports for both UDP and TCP, not just UDP. This is essential for the dedicated server to work correctly and for other players to join your game.

If you only forward port 7777, you’ll only be able to connect to your local server, and others won’t be able to join. Forwarding all three ports for both UDP and TCP should resolve the issue. Additionally, using the Server Manager in the game can help you manage your dedicated server more easily.

Satisfactory

Satisfactory is a factory simulation game developed by Coffee Stain Studios from Sweden. In the game, you play as a "Pioneer" who lands on an alien planet with basic tools. Your goal is to use the planet’s resources to build and expand complex factories. These factories help you automate the production of various items needed for a space elevator. As you send more items back to your company, FICSIT Inc., you unlock new technologies that allow you to create even more advanced components.

Released in early access on March 19, 2019, Satisfactory had sold 5.5 million copies by January 2024. The full version came out on September 10, 2024, and Coffee Stain Studios has also announced plans to release the game on consoles. The factory-building gameplay has been likened to a 3D, first-person version of the game Factorio.

Satisfactory Gameplay

In Satisfactory, players start by choosing one of four locations on an alien planet: Grasslands, Rocky Desert, Dune Desert, or Northern Forest. Each location offers different resources and terrain. After landing, you salvage your pod to build a central base called The H.U.B (Habitat and Utility Base).

The game begins with a tutorial called "Onboarding," teaching you to mine and process basic materials like iron, copper, and limestone. With these materials, you build a simple factory and start exploring the game's Tier system. As you progress through eight tiers, you unlock advanced materials and equipment by delivering parts to the Space Elevator.

Your main goals are to create a fully automated factory and deliver all required parts to the Space Elevator. As you advance, you'll need to build power systems like coal, fuel, and nuclear generators.

Exploration and combat are secondary elements. You'll face hostile alien creatures and hazardous environments, using limited weapons and vehicles to gather valuable resources. Blueprints help streamline the construction of production buildings.
