Jenn Tran has had an exciting 12 hours. Right after finishing the live finale of The Bachelorette (season 21), she found out she was offered a spot on Dancing With the Stars. Her partner, Sasha Farber, also learned late last night that he would be on the show.
Sasha said, “I got a call, it was early in the morning, saying, ‘You need to get on a flight in 45 minutes. And I was flying down to get to the airport. I didn’t have a ticket." He added, “I didn’t even meet her. I see her running to security. I was like, ‘That must Jenn, good, I need to be where she’s going.'”

Slater and Farber got engaged in 2016 during an episode of "Dancing With the Stars" and got married in March 2018.
In February, Slater filed for divorce from Farber, saying they had differences they couldn't work out, according to court papers.
They had already separated in April 2022. Even though they are no longer together, Slater said that Sasha still feels "like family" to her.

Sasha Farber was born in Belarus, Soviet Union, but moved to Australia in 1986. He is about 40 years old. He comes from a Jewish family and started dancing when he was 13. At 17, he won the Australian Youth Latin Championships twice and represented Australia at the World Latin Championships.
He also performed in the closing ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and appeared in the second season of the Australian version of "Dancing with the Stars." He was married in 2018 and divorced in 2024.
