Adam runs a website and YouTube channel called Tested, where he shares his workshop creations. He published a memoir in 2019 and is now the creative director for SiliCon and co-founded a company called Savage Industries that makes eco-friendly gear bags.

Jamie Hyneman

Jamie Hyneman is a former co-host of MythBusters, known for his expertise in special effects and scientific experimentation. He helped create the show through his special effects company, M5 Industries.

After the reboot of MythBusters, Brian moved to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he became the general manager of Carambola Zipline, offering educational tours and zipline adventures. He is also involved in a project called FRB Experimental, restoring an old boat to create a search-and-rescue vessel. Additionally, he runs a local shop that sells spear-fishing supplies and equipment for divers.

Heather Joseph-Witham

Heather Joseph-Witham is a folklorist and researcher who was an important part of the MythBusters team in its early seasons, helping to provide context and direction for experiments related to urban legends.

Since leaving MythBusters in 2004, Heather has continued to work in both entertainment and folklore scholarship. She has appeared on various reality shows and directed films such as UFOs in Derbyshire and Vampires in the Big Easy. She is also an associate professor at Otis College of Art and Design, where she teaches classes on subjects like witchcraft and UFOs.

Sergeant J.D. Nelson

Sergeant J.D. Nelson is an explosives and firearms expert who served as a guest consultant on MythBusters, helping to ensure safety during dangerous experiments.

What Happened to the Cast of Mythbusters?

While many of the Mythbusters cast are still active in the entertainment industry some other cast of Mythbusters died in the past years. Here take a look at the cast of Mythbusters who all died:-

Grant Imahara

Grant Imahara was a former co-host of MythBusters, known for his expertise in robotics and engineering. He was part of the show's "Build Team" alongside Kari Byron and Tory Belleci.

Grant left MythBusters in 2014 after contract negotiations broke down and joined his former co-stars on Netflix for White Rabbit Project in 2016. He hosted the Curbed documentary series The Home of the Future and acted in various projects, including voicing Sulu in fan-made Star Trek series and appearing in Drunk History and Sharknado 3.

Outside of acting, Grant worked on building robots, including a lifelike animatronic of Grogu from The Mandalorian for children's hospitals. Sadly, Grant Imahara passed away in 2020 at the age of 49 due to an aneurysm.

Jessi Combs

Jessi Combs was a talented automotive expert and fabricator who briefly joined the MythBusters "Build Team" in 2009 during Kari Byron's maternity leave. She appeared in nine episodes of the show and went on to feature in several other vehicle-themed reality programs.

After her time on MythBusters, Jessi focused on setting land speed records. In 2013, she became known as "the fastest woman on four wheels" by reaching 398 miles per hour. She later broke her own record in 2018 with a speed of 483 miles per hour. Tragically, on August 27, 2019, while attempting to set a new record of 512 miles per hour in a jet-powered car, she lost control of the vehicle and died in the crash at the age of 39.

Erik Gates

Erik Gates was an amateur rocket expert who appeared in four episodes of MythBusters between 2003 and 2005. He also worked as an electrical contractor and consulted on the rocketry show Master Blasters. Erik Gates tragically died in 2009 at age 47 after falling 30 feet while overseeing a job in Ventura County, California.

Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh was part of the medical crew on MythBusters, providing on-site treatment for accidents and injuries. He appeared in three episodes, with his last appearance in 2007. Sanjay Singh passed away in October 2010, and his death was honored with a dedication card on the show.

Mythbusters

MythBusters is a science entertainment TV show that started on January 23, 2003, on the Discovery Channel. Created by Peter Rees and produced by Beyond Television Productions in Australia, the show features hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman.
