He mentioned that while he may not be able to move as he usually does, he feels ready to play. Love's trainers are monitoring his progress closely. If he can't play, backup Malik Willis is ready to take over.

Willis did well in the last game, helping the Packers win against the Indianapolis Colts. The Packers are 1-1 this season and are hoping for another win. Love’s situation is promising, but the final decision will come just before the game.

What Happened to Jordan Love?

Jordan Love, the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback, injured his left knee's medial collateral ligament (MCL) during the season-opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 6, 2024. The injury occurred when two Eagles defenders, Jalen Carter and Josh Sweat, pressured Love in the final moments of the game.

Carter grabbed Love’s left leg while Sweat delivered a hit that caused him to fall, resulting in the MCL sprain. Love described the pain as the worst he had ever felt on the field. Since the injury, Love has returned to practice on a limited basis but hasn't played in a game.

He missed the Packers' 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts, with backup quarterback Malik Willis stepping in and performing well. The Packers are hopeful for Love's recovery, but his return to the field is still being evaluated by the team’s medical staff.
