Is Misbah Leaving Hollyoaks?

It is not known if  Misbah is leaving Hollyoaks or not. Hollyoaks has aired a big twist for Misbah Maalik. In one of the episodes, Misbah suffered the consequences of Donny Clark involving in Dave Chen-Williams' affairs. Dave recently revealed to be gangster Blue, with a revelation leading his wife Cindy Cunningham to flee from the village in a dramatic exit.

Donny broke into Dave's apartment because he suspected that his brother Ethan is Blue. Before leaving Donny stole Ethan's contacts book. Donny came clean to Misbah about breaking into Ethan's flat and showed her Ethan's notebook.

Dave realised that Donny got into his apartment. Worried Misbah insisted on Donny's obsession with finding who Blue is and putting families at risk, and Dave made a plan to get Donny back.

Dave met Rex and insisted they should get rid of Donny, a former police officer. "Nah, not yet. There's a smarter way," Dave insisted.

Donny received a text from Misbah informing that she would stay over at a friend's home that night. Aware that she was upset for his investigation, Donny did not question her decision and gave her some space. In the final scenes, Rex was holding Misbah in his captive and wouldn't let her go "until Blue is done with [her]".

Also, Warren Fox shocked Mercedes McQueen and Steve Hay when he shared his plan to break out of jail. Afraid that Blue would kill him in the new prison, Warren intended to break out before the gangster could get to him.

Misbah Hollyoaks Actress

Misbah is played by Harvey Virdi in Hollyoaks. Harvey Virdi is a British actress of Indian descent. She trained at Academy Drama School in London. Her theatre credits include The Borrowers (at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff), When We are Married, Tiger Country and Tales From The Harrow Road (Hampstead Theatre), Twelfth Night (1997 and 2004,), Romeo and Juliet ( 2000,), Square Circle and Playboy of the Asian World, Airport 2000 (Riverside Studios, Hammersmith), and Exodus.

In 2003, she was 'Mrs Peachum' in The Threepenny Opera for the Royal National Theatre. She also appeared as Nina Mandal, in Coronation Street. She was a supporting cast member in Class Dismissed.

Who is Misbah Maalik?

Misbah Maalik is the ex-wife of Zain Rizwaan, the widow of Kashif Maalik and mother of Farrah, Yasmine and Imran Maalik. She is the biological mother of Shaq Qureshi, raised by her sister Hasina.

Misbah was born between 1971 and 1973, and had three other siblings. Misbah met and married Kashif Maalik, who had a son - Sami - from his previous marriage to Sheebah Desai. In 1992, Misbah gave birth to her and Kashif's first child, Farrah. They went on to have two more children: Yasmine in 2000 and Imran in 2002 or 2003. In 2012, Kashif was falsely accused of using and having funds from Forbes Carney Solicitors and died by suicide in January 2013.
