Chad Gable Early Life

Betts competed as an amateur wrestler in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He joined WWE in 2013 and trained in their development program, NXT. As part of the tag team American Alpha with Jason Jordan, he won the NXT Tag Team Championship. They later moved to the main roster in 2016, where they won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship before splitting up in 2017.

Afterward, Gable teamed up with Shelton Benjamin and later Bobby Roode, winning the Raw Tag Team Championship with Roode in December 2018. This made him the second wrestler to win the NXT, SmackDown, and Raw Tag Team Championships. In January 2022, Gable won the Raw Tag Team Championship again with Otis, his partner in Alpha Academy.

Kurt Angle Early Life

While attending Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Angle became a two-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion in the heavyweight division. After college, he won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1995 World Wrestling Championships. Despite having a broken neck, he also won a gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He is one of only four people to win titles at the Junior Nationals, NCAA, World Championships, and the Olympics. In 2006, USA Wrestling named him the greatest shoot wrestler of all time, and he was listed as one of the top 15 college wrestlers. In 2016, Angle was inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame.
