Adam Cole Early Life

Austin Jenkins was born on July 5, 1989, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Manheim, a nearby town. He has a younger brother. His parents separated when he was ten years old. As a child, Jenkins took karate lessons and also wrestled at Manheim Central High School. However, he quit wrestling in his senior year to get a job and pay for his professional wrestling training.

Sean Michael Coulthard was born on December 8, 1966, in Syracuse, New York. He went to the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and graduated in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.

Adam Cole Career

Adam Cole started wrestling for Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2009 and became the first wrestler to win the ROH World Championship three times. He also held the ROH World Television Championship once and won the 2014 ROH Survival of the Fittest tournament.

Besides ROH, he has wrestled for various independent promotions like Chikara and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where he was a former CZW World Junior Heavyweight Champion, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he was a former PWG World Champion, holding records for the longest reigns in both titles. He also competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as part of the Bullet Club group.

From 2017 to 2021, Cole worked for WWE, mainly on their NXT brand. During this time, he led a group called The Undisputed Era, which included Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, and later Roderick Strong. Cole became the second wrestler to win the NXT Triple Crown, which means he held the NXT North American Championship, the NXT Tag Team Championship, and is the longest-reigning NXT Champion ever.

Michael Cole Career

Coulthard started his career as a journalist for CBS Radio. His first major assignment was covering the 1988 presidential campaign for Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis. In 1992, he reported on Bill Clinton's presidential campaign. He also covered the 51-day standoff at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993.

The following year, he spent nine months reporting on the civil war in Yugoslavia. In 1995, he reported on the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing and returned to cover the 1996 presidential campaigns of Steve Forbes and Senator Bob Dole.
