America's Got Talent
America's Got Talent (AGT) is a popular American TV show where people show off their different talents. The show was created by Simon Cowell and first aired in June 2006 on NBC. Contestants come from all over the U.S. and even other countries to show talents like singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and more.
A panel of judges, which includes Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofía Vergara, decides which acts move forward to the live shows. Contestants then compete for votes from both the judges and the public.
The winner of AGT gets a big cash prize and the chance to perform in Las Vegas. Terry Crews is the current host, and the show continues to be a huge success, averaging about 10 million viewers per season. AGT has also inspired spin-off shows like America's Got Talent: The Champions and AGT: All-Stars.
