Green Day is coming to Australia for their global stadium tour next March! They’ll be playing their albums Dookie and American Idiot along with other hits. Here’s the schedule for their Australian shows:

• 1 March: Melbourne at Marvel Stadium
• 3 March: Sydney at Engie Stadium
• 5 March: Gold Coast at C-Bus Super Stadium

If you want to get early access to tickets, sign up for their mailing list by going to their official website. The presale starts on Monday, 16 September at 1 pm in Gold Coast, 2 pm in Melbourne, and 3 pm in Sydney. You'll get a code 24 hours before the presale if you’re on their mailing list. General ticket sales for everyone will begin on Friday, 20 September.

Green Day

Green Day is a rock band from Rodeo, California, formed in 1987 by Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt, with drummer Tré Cool joining in 1990. Their big break came in 1994 with the album Dookie, which sold over 10 million copies in the U.S. and helped bring punk rock into the mainstream.

Before adopting the name Green Day in 1989, the band was called Blood Rage and then Sweet Children. They were a key part of the Bay Area punk scene and released their first album, 39/Smooth, with the indie label Lookout! Records. Green Day’s early success continued with albums like Kerplunk and Insomniac.

They reached new heights with American Idiot in 2004, which became popular with a younger audience. They followed with 21st Century Breakdown in 2009, and a trilogy of albums in 2012. Their more recent albums include Revolution Radio (2016), Father of All Motherfuckers (2020), and Saviors (2024).

Green Day also had a Broadway musical based on American Idiot, won five Grammy Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. They have sold around 75 million records worldwide and are known for their collaborations and side projects
