Dolly's Journey in 600 LB Life

Dolly appeared on My 600-lb Life in January 2022, starting her journey at 25 years old and weighing 593.2 pounds. She struggled with serious health issues, including congestive heart failure, and needed to use oxygen to help her breathe. Because of her weight and health problems, she sought help from Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, also known as Dr. Now, a well-known bariatric surgeon.

When Dolly first met Dr. Now, he evaluated her condition and decided that she could not yet have bariatric surgery. He was concerned about her unstable health situation and the lack of significant weight loss before surgery. Throughout her time on the show, Dolly faced many challenges, and by the end of her episode, she had only lost 40 pounds in almost a year.

Despite not making much progress during the show, Dolly's journey is not over. She has shown determination and has the tools she needs to succeed in her weight loss goals. With time and effort, there is still hope for her to achieve better health and a happier life.

Dolly Daughter

Dolly and her now-estranged husband were unable to care for their daughter, leading to Child Protective Services taking her away when she was just 6 days old. After that, Dolly's mother, Staci, took custody of the girl. Now, Dolly is living with her daughter.

Dolly Relationships

Dolly's relationship status has been quite complicated. She had a clash with her mother and eventually went back to her husband, who had a history of being abusive. Unfortunately, when her husband repeated his harmful behavior, Dolly decided to leave and sought refuge in a homeless shelter.

While at the shelter, she met a man named Philip. After about six weeks of dating, they became engaged. However, even after their engagement, Dolly and Philip remained homeless, living in a hotel. As of 2024, she ended her relationship with Philip and now focusing on her self growth.
