In Week 2 of Dancing With the Stars Season 33, the theme was "Oscars Night," where contestants paid tribute to famous movies. No one was eliminated in the first week, but co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced that two couples would be sent home this week.

Each couple performed different dances, showcasing their skills, and the judges provided feedback on their performances. The scores from Week 1 were carried over into this week, leading to an exciting competition!.

Who went Home on Dancing with the Stars Double Elimination?

During the double elimination in Week 2 of Dancing With the Stars, Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov, along with Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa, were sent home.  The results were based on the judges' scores from the past two weeks and live voting from the audience. 

When asked what she would take away from the competition, Anna replied, “Nothing.” In contrast, Tori gave a shoutout to her kids, encouraging them to believe that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

Dancing with the Stars Season 33

The thirty-third season of Dancing with the Stars started on September 17, 2024. This American dance competition show first aired on ABC on June 1, 2005. It is based on the British show Strictly Come Dancing and is part of the larger Dancing with the Stars franchise.

In the show, celebrities are paired with professional dancers. Each couple competes against others to earn points from judges and votes from the audience. Each week, the couple with the lowest combined score from the judges and audience is usually eliminated until only one winning dance pair remains.

Alfonso Ribeiro

Julianne Hough

After serving as a judge from 2014 to 2017, Hough returned as co-host in 2023. She has also acted in films like Burlesque and Footloose and has received multiple Emmy Award nominations for her work on the show.

Derek Hough

Derek Hough is an American professional dancer, choreographer, actor, and singer. He was a professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars from 2007 to 2016, achieving a record six victories with his celebrity partners. Hough is renowned for his choreography and has received several accolades for his work in dance.
