Even though the danger is gone, the experience leaves deep emotional scars. In the last scene, an adult Isaac returns to the house where it all happened. He finds memories of his past, including a photo of his father and the creature’s skeleton.

This shows that confronting the creature was a big moment for Isaac. It allowed him and Laura to heal their relationship and move on with their lives. They later settle in a new home, showing that, despite the trauma, they found peace and stability.

Daddy's Head

James (Charles Aitken) dies in a terrible car accident, leaving behind his young son Isaac (Rupert Turnbull) and his wife Laura (Julia Brown). As they struggle to cope with the loss, Laura is unsure if she can become Isaac's legal guardian. Meanwhile, strange things start happening in their house.

Their dog chases something invisible through a window, and smoke appears in the woods, even though there's no fire. Isaac begins seeing visions of his dad, but his father seems different, speaking to him from the forest and through the air vent in his room.

As the tension grows, Laura feels more unsure about being Isaac's guardian, and the creature starts to have more control over Isaac.
