Conner Weigman Injury Update
Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman is recovering from a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder and is unlikely to play in the upcoming game against Bowling Green. He initially suffered the injury during Week 2 but managed to play through it. In Week 3, backup quarterback Marcel Reed started and performed well, helping the Aggies secure a win against Florida. Head coach Mike Elko stated that Weigman's status will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
Although the imaging showed no serious damage beyond the AC sprain, the timeline for Weigman’s return remains uncertain. Elko mentioned that they are focusing on Weigman’s recovery and rehabilitation, and they will decide closer to game day based on his progress. Reed will continue to lead the team while Weigman works on getting back to full strength.
