Can You Cancel Construction in Frostpunk 2?

No, you cannot cancel construction once it has started in *Frostpunk 2*. If you begin building a district or a structure, you have to wait for it to be completed before you can take any action. After construction finishes, you can demolish the building or district, but this only gives back part of the resources you used.

The demolition process also takes time, so it's important to carefully plan your city layout to avoid wasting resources and time. The only exception to this rule is with Trails and Skyways, which are used to connect different colonies and settlements.

You can cancel their construction while it's in progress and get your resources back. However, this feature doesn't apply to other buildings or districts. If you're still in the planning stage, you can change or cancel the construction by deselecting the tiles before the work begins. This allows you to make adjustments without losing resources.

Construction in Frostpunk 2
