The popular show Anupama has continued to impress audiences due to its engaging story and strong performances. Lead actors Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna have shone in their roles, along with a talented supporting cast that includes Arvind Vaidya, Alpana Buch, Aura Bhatnagar, Gaurav Sharma, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, Nishi Saxena, and Chandni Bhagwanani.

Anupama will take a generation leap, with the storyline jumping ahead by 10 to 15 years. While Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna are expected to continue in their roles, other cast members like Arvind Vaidya and Alpana Buch might be replaced. Additionally, new characters are likely to join the show, adding fresh faces to the beloved drama.

Here's a look at the new cast members expected to enter:

Alisha Parveen 

Alisha will play the grown-up Aadhya, Anupama’s daughter, around whom the post-leap storyline will revolve.

Alisha Parveen was born on 4 July 1998. She is an actress known for her roles in the films Talvar in 2015, What Will People Say in 2017, and Hum Nikamma Banate Hain in 2023.

Shivam Khajuria

A glimpse of Shivam was seen in the promo, and he will play a character close to Anupama, though his exact role hasn’t been revealed yet.

Shivam Khajuria, who previously appeared as Rohit, Armaan's younger brother (played by Rohit Purohit) in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai, has been cast in Anupamaa after its 15-year leap.

Tanvi Hegde

Known for her role as Fruity in Sonpari, Tanvi is rumored to play the role of Kinjal and Toshu’s daughter, Pari.

Tanvi Hegde is a very active child actress who has appeared in nearly 150 advertisements. As a young actress, she played the role of Fruity in the show Son Pari and has also starred in Captain House, Instant Khichdi, and Shaka Laka Boom Boom. Additionally, she has acted in several movies, including Gaja Gamini, Virudh, and Champion.

Gurdeep Punj

With Madalsa Sharma leaving the show, Gurdeep Punj might step in as the new Kavya, though this hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Gurdeep Punj is an Indian actress who works in Hindi television. She is known for her roles as Hemani Singh in Best of Luck Nikki, Dr. Juhi in Sanjivani, and Bani in Kasamh Se.

Manish Nagdev

Manish is expected to replace Gaurav Sharma as Toshu after the leap, as Gaurav is said to be leaving the show.

Manish Naggdev is an Indian television actor. He is recognized for playing the role of Chinu in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and Adarsh Thakur in Begusarai. In 2018, he appeared as Aakash in Udaan.

Krutika Desai

Krutika will reportedly take over the role of Kinjal, replacing Nidhi Shah. Kruttika Desai is an Indian actress known for her work in film, theater, and television. She became famous in the 1990s for her role in the serial Buniyaad and later gained recognition for her four roles, including that of a Vishkanya in a popular fantasy series.

In this new phase, Anupama and Anuj’s love story will come to an end, and the show will focus on the new generation’s storyline.

Anupama

Anupamaa is an Indian Hindi drama series that premiered on 13 July 2020 on StarPlus and streams on Disney+ Hotstar. It is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under Director's Kut Productions and is a remake of the Bengali show Sreemoyee. The show follows the inspiring journey of a mother, with the concept adapted from Aai Kuthe Kay Karte. In 2020, the cast created a special song for Raksha Bandhan, blending Gujarati, Hindi, and English. 

Anupama Plot

Anupamaa is the story of a middle-aged housewife, Anupamaa, who works hard for her family. Her life changes when she discovers her husband, Vanraj, has been cheating on her with his colleague, Kavya. Heartbroken, she decides to create a new life for herself. Anupamaa's children, Samar, Paritosh, and Pakhi, face their own relationship struggles as well.

Anupamaa eventually divorces Vanraj, who marries Kavya. She later reconnects with her college friend, Anuj Kapadia, and they get married. They adopt a daughter, Chhoti Anu. However, due to misunderstandings, Anupamaa and Anuj get divorced, and Anuj moves to the USA with Chhoti Anu, renaming her Aadhya. Anupamaa stays in India, living quietly while running a food channel online.

Five years later, Anuj is engaged to another woman, Shruti, and raising Aadhya in the USA. Anupamaa continues to face challenges but eventually reunites with Anuj, and they work together to find Aadhya, who has been mistreated by her adoptive mother

After dramatic events, including a fire and the death of Dimple, Anupamaa's son Samar's widow, tensions arise between the characters. The show ends with unresolved conflicts as Aadhya, feeling blamed for Dimple's death, runs away, and the Shah family is forced to leave their home.
